James Francis Hammel, MD, MA, MSc (Oxon), FAPA, FACLP
Dr. James Hammel is Associated Behavioral Health Care’s Medical Director. He is a widely respected leader in mental health care. He embraces a collaborative, holistic, patient-focused approach to helping people transform their lives. With over 20 years practicing psychiatry, Dr. Hammel oversees all our care including the use of cutting edge treatments that include TMS.
James Francis Hammel, MD, MA, MSc (Oxon), FAPA, FACLP was one of five children, valedictorian of Jesuit High School, and an Eagle Scout. He received his pre-medical education at Stanford University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and with both bachelors and master’s degrees in Psychology. He earned his M.D. degree from Harvard Medical School, including serving as the Head Resident Advisor at Harvard’s medical student hall and working as coordinator of Harvard’s pediatric hospice service. He was named the Association of American Medical College’s first Nickens Scholar. At the end of medical school, he was a US-UK Fulbright Scholar at Oxford University, where he received an additional graduate degree (Master’s of Science in Medical Sciences, By Research).
John Dolan, MD
Dr. Dolan is a board-Certified Psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in Washington State. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed training in Neurology at Washington University in St. Louis Missouri and Psychiatry at St. Louis University also in St. Louis Missouri. He worked as a longtime Department Chairman in a major east-coast hospital and was recognized in Who’s Who in America (2000 edition). Dr. Dolan specializes in the treatment of recurrent depression, persistent anxiety, mood and Bipolar disorders.
