Relapse Prevention addresses those situations a client faces, who relapses, or fears they are going to relapse, during or after treatment, and do not know how to stop it.  The goal is to develop a better understanding of what relapse is, the process of relapse and how it can be prevented. The content of the classes include identification of high-risk situations, stress management and coping skills.  Classes are designed for the individual who already accepts his/her problem with alcohol and or drugs, does not want to use alcohol and drugs, and recognizes the need to work a recovery program.


Also available is Relapse Prevention Therapy, an individualized program that offers the opportunity for guided self-exploration in the areas of:


Personal values

Identification of feelings and needs

Consequences of past and current behaviors and desired personal and environmental and social changes

Making choices and setting appropriate goals

Problem solving skills

Resource for recovery support
